Booking

How do I book a property on Juxtravel?

Pick dates and guests on any property page, click ‘Book now’, add a meal plan if you'd like, then confirm payment. You'll get WhatsApp and email confirmation within seconds. The whole flow takes under 60 seconds.

Is it safe to book on Juxtravel?

Yes. Every property on Juxtravel is video-verified before it goes live, payments are processed through Razorpay (PCI-DSS certified), and we never share your card details. We also offer full refunds if a listing is materially misrepresented.

Can I book without creating an account?

You need a light account to book — but sign-up is just a 6-digit WhatsApp code, no password. It takes about 10 seconds and lets you track your booking, message your host, and earn loyalty points.

Can I hold a property without paying?

For ‘Pay at Property’ listings yes — submit an enquiry and the host has up to 8 hours to confirm (2 hours for same-day check-ins). For online-only listings, payment confirms the booking instantly.

Do you charge any booking fees?

No booking fees or service charges for guests. The price you see on the property page is what you pay (plus GST where applicable, which is shown transparently at checkout).

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

UPI, all major credit and debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets — all through Razorpay. We also offer EMI on select cards for bookings above ₹10,000.

Can I pay a deposit and settle the rest later?

Yes. On most properties you can choose ‘Pay 50% now’ and settle the balance 3 days before check-in. We'll send a WhatsApp reminder with a secure payment link.

Is GST included in the price shown?

It depends on the property. We clearly show the base rate, extra-guest charges, meals, and GST as separate line items at checkout so you know exactly what you're paying for.

When will I get a payment receipt?

An emailed receipt is sent the moment payment is verified. You can also request a fresh copy anytime from your bookings page or by replying to the booking confirmation on WhatsApp.

Cancellations & Refunds

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policy is set by each host and shown on every property page before you book. Most properties offer a full refund if cancelled 7+ days before check-in, and a partial refund between 48 hours and 7 days out.

How do I cancel a booking?

Open your booking from the ‘My Bookings’ page or the WhatsApp confirmation message, tap ‘Cancel booking’, and confirm. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

What if the host cancels on me?

You get a full refund, a ₹2,000 rebooking credit, and our team personally helps you find a comparable property. Host-initiated cancellations are extremely rare (<0.3% of bookings).

What if there's an emergency?

Message us on WhatsApp (+91 95604 93700) with your booking ref. For medical emergencies, natural disasters, or government travel advisories, we waive cancellation fees case by case.

Check-in & Stay

When will I get check-in details?

The day before check-in we send a WhatsApp with the exact address, host contact, Wi-Fi password, and arrival instructions. Standard check-in is 2pm and check-out is 11am unless the property shows otherwise.

Is self check-in available?

Some properties offer smart-lock or lockbox self check-in — it's marked on the property page. Most rural villas and farmstays have an on-site host or caretaker who welcomes you.

What's included in the stay?

Basics (linen, towels, toiletries, Wi-Fi, power backup, parking) are included at every property. Meal plans (breakfast, half-board, full-board) can be added at checkout for an extra per-person charge.

Can I bring extra guests?

Yes, up to the property's max guest limit. Extra guests beyond the base occupancy have a per-night charge shown on the property page. Children under 5 usually stay free — confirm on the listing.

Can I bring my pet?

Only properties tagged ‘Pet-friendly’ accept pets — use the filter on /browse. A small pet cleaning fee may apply.

Hosting on Juxtravel

How do I list my property?

Click ‘List your property’ in the nav, create a host account, and our team walks you through photos, pricing, and a video verification call. Most listings go live within 3–5 days.

What commission does Juxtravel take?

5% of the booking value on confirmed stays. No listing fees, no monthly charges, no hidden deductions. You keep 95% and get paid within 7 days of checkout.

Do I need a separate property management system?

Not for Juxtravel itself — you can manage bookings directly from your host dashboard. If you list on multiple platforms and want channel sync, invoicing, and a unified inbox, we integrate with HostSuite PMS (a separate product) so Juxtravel bookings flow into the same system you already use.

Account & Privacy

How does WhatsApp login work?

We send a 6-digit code to your WhatsApp — enter it on the site and you're in. No password to remember, no SMS (which is unreliable in India). Your phone number is never sold or shared.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Email support@juxtravel.com from your registered address and we'll delete your account and data within 30 days, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

How do you use my data?

Only to fulfil your bookings, send trip updates, and improve the service. We never sell your data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
