How much commission does Juxtravel charge hosts?
Juxtravel charges a flat 8% commission on confirmed bookings — less than half of Airbnb's 15.5% and well below Booking.com (15%) and MMT Holidays (18%). There are no listing fees, setup charges, or monthly subscriptions. When a guest rebooks you within 12 months, commission drops to 5%.
How fast do I get paid?
We transfer payouts within 48 hours of guest check-in — not 30 days after checkout like most OTAs. This dramatically improves cash flow for smaller properties that depend on quick turnarounds for maintenance and staff payments.
What is HostSuite PMS and is it really included?
HostSuite is our property management system — it handles bookings, calendar sync across channels (Airbnb, Booking.com, MMT), guest messaging, invoicing, and reporting. All Juxtravel hosts get access at no extra cost. It replaces tools like Hostaway or Lodgify (typically ₹3,000–5,000/month).
Do I have to be exclusive to Juxtravel?
No. You can continue listing on Airbnb, Booking.com or directly — HostSuite syncs your calendar across all channels so you never get a double booking. Many hosts start with Juxtravel as a second channel and move it to primary as bookings ramp up.
What kinds of properties do you accept?
We list villas, farmstays, cottages, homestays, heritage homes, treehouses, glamping, and houseboats across India. Minimum requirements: 1BR+, private (not shared with owner), legal ownership/management documents, and genuinely guest-ready condition. We reject roughly 40% of applicants at the verification stage.
How does the video verification work?
Our team visits your property within 3–5 days of application. We check title deed, KYC documents, inspect every bedroom and amenity, test Wi-Fi and hot water, interview staff, and film a 90-second walkthrough. The walkthrough appears on your listing and drives 2.3× higher booking conversion vs. photo-only listings.
Who handles guest communication?
Juxtravel's concierge team handles first-touch guest questions on WhatsApp 24/7 — everything from ‘where's the key?’ to ‘which restaurant for dinner?’ If a guest issue requires your input (like a maintenance decision), we escalate to you via WhatsApp. You can always opt out of concierge and handle guests yourself.
How do you prevent guest damage?
Every booking goes through our KYC verification (government ID + phone verification). We require a refundable security deposit scaled to property value (typically ₹10k–₹50k). Damage claims are adjudicated by our team with photo evidence from both sides — we side with hosts on clear-cut cases.
Can I set my own prices and house rules?
Yes, always. We suggest dynamic pricing based on our calendar data (weekend demand, season, local events), but the algorithm is off by default — nothing changes without your approval. Same for house rules, minimum stay, and booking windows.
