Editing Your Profile

Keeping your profile up to date helps hosts know who they are welcoming and ensures smooth communication.

Accessing Your Profile

1. Log in to Juxtravel.
2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select My Account or navigate to /account.

What You Can Edit

• Full Name — Your real name as it appears on your ID. Hosts use this for check-in verification.
• Phone Number — Your primary contact number. This is used for OTP login, booking notifications, and host communication. Changing it requires re-verification with a new OTP.
• Email Address — Used for booking confirmations, receipts, and important updates.
• Profile Photo — Upload a clear photo of yourself. This builds trust with hosts and appears on your bookings.

Profile Visibility

Your name and photo are visible to hosts when you make a booking. Your phone number and email are only shared with the host after a booking is confirmed, never publicly.

Keeping It Updated

• Always use your real name — mismatched IDs at check-in can cause issues.
• Keep your phone number current — this is how hosts and Juxtravel reach you for booking updates.
• Add a profile photo — listings with guest photos have higher acceptance rates for enquiries.

Note: Some profile fields (like your verified phone number) are linked to your login method. If you signed up with phone OTP, your phone number is your primary identifier.
