Understanding Juxtravel Pricing
Understanding Juxtravel Pricing
We believe in transparent pricing. Here is how costs are calculated on Juxtravel so there are no surprises at checkout.
Base Price
Every property has a base price per night that covers a set number of guests (the "base occupancy"). This is the starting rate you see on listing cards.
Weekend Pricing
Many properties charge a weekend rate for Friday and Saturday nights. This is shown clearly in the price breakdown before you pay.
Extra Guest Charges
If your group exceeds the base occupancy, an extra guest charge is added per additional adult per night. Children are generally not counted as extra guests.
Example: A property with base occupancy of 4 and extra guest charge of Rs 500. If you book for 6 adults, you pay an additional Rs 1,000 per night (2 extra guests x Rs 500).
Service Fee
Juxtravel charges a 3% service fee on the room subtotal. This covers platform operations, customer support, and secure payment processing.
GST (Goods and Services Tax)
GST is applied as per the property's registered rate. The GST amount is calculated on the room charges and shown separately in the breakdown.
Price Breakdown Example
| Item | Amount | |------|--------| | 2 nights x Rs 5,000 | Rs 10,000 | | Weekend surcharge (1 night) | Rs 1,000 | | Extra guest (1 adult x 2 nights) | Rs 1,000 | | Subtotal | Rs 12,000 | | Service fee (3%) | Rs 360 | | GST (12%) | Rs 1,440 | | Total | Rs 13,800 |
Discounts
Hosts may offer weekly discounts (7+ nights) or monthly discounts (28+ nights). These are applied automatically at checkout when applicable.
No hidden fees. What you see in the checkout breakdown is exactly what you pay.
