How to Cancel a Booking
Life happens and plans change. Here is how to cancel your Juxtravel booking.
Steps to Cancel
- Log in to your Juxtravel account.
- Go to My Account > My Bookings.
- Find the booking you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Booking.
- Select a reason for cancellation (helps us improve).
- Review the refund amount based on the property's cancellation policy.
- Confirm the cancellation.
What Happens After Cancellation
- You receive a cancellation confirmation via email and WhatsApp.
- The host is notified immediately and their calendar opens up.
- If eligible, your refund is initiated automatically (see refund timelines below).
Refund Timeline

Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot redirect refunds to a different account.
Partial Cancellations
Currently, Juxtravel does not support shortening a booking (e.g., cancelling 2 of 5 nights). You would need to cancel the entire booking and rebook for the shorter period.
Cancellation by Host
If the host cancels your booking:
- You receive a full refund regardless of the cancellation policy.
- Juxtravel helps you find a comparable alternative property.
- The host may face penalties for frequent cancellations.
