How to Cancel a Booking

Life happens and plans change. Here is how to cancel your Juxtravel booking.

Steps to Cancel

  1. Log in to your Juxtravel account.
  2. Go to My Account > My Bookings.
  3. Find the booking you want to cancel.
  4. Tap Cancel Booking.
  5. Select a reason for cancellation (helps us improve).
  6. Review the refund amount based on the property's cancellation policy.
  7. Confirm the cancellation.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • You receive a cancellation confirmation via email and WhatsApp.
  • The host is notified immediately and their calendar opens up.
  • If eligible, your refund is initiated automatically (see refund timelines below).

Refund Timeline

Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot redirect refunds to a different account.

Partial Cancellations

Currently, Juxtravel does not support shortening a booking (e.g., cancelling 2 of 5 nights). You would need to cancel the entire booking and rebook for the shorter period.

Cancellation by Host

If the host cancels your booking:

  • You receive a full refund regardless of the cancellation policy.
  • Juxtravel helps you find a comparable alternative property.
  • The host may face penalties for frequent cancellations.
