Guest Verification

Juxtravel encourages guest verification to build trust between guests and hosts.

Why Verify Your Identity?

  • Higher booking acceptance — hosts are more likely to accept enquiries from verified guests.
  • Smoother check-in — your ID is already on file, so check-in is faster.
  • Trust badge — a verified badge appears on your profile.
  • Required for some properties — premium properties may require guest verification.

How to Get Verified

  1. Go to My Account > Verification.
  2. Upload a government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN card, Passport, or Driving Licence).
  3. Our team reviews your submission within 24 hours.
  4. Once approved, a Verified badge appears on your profile.

What We Check

  • Name match — your ID name should match your profile name.
  • Photo match — the ID photo should reasonably match your profile photo.
  • ID validity — the document must be current and legible.

ID Security

Your ID document is:

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Never shared with hosts — they only see your verification badge, not the actual document.
  • Deleted after verification if you request it.
  • Handled in compliance with Indian data protection laws.

When Is Verification Required?

Verification is optional but recommended for most bookings. However, some hosts or premium properties may require it, especially for:

  • High-value properties (above Rs 25,000/night)
  • Multi-day bookings (7+ nights)
  • Large group bookings (10+ guests)

Tip: Get verified before you need it — the process takes up to 24 hours and you do not want to delay your booking.
