What Is Property Verification?
Before any property appears on Juxtravel, our team conducts a thorough verification process to ensure:
- The property exists and matches the listing description.
- Photos are accurate — no stock photos, no misleading angles.
- Amenities are real — if a listing says "private pool," we confirm it.
- Safety basics are covered — proper access, lighting, and emergency provisions.
The Verification Process
Video Walkthrough
A Juxtravel team member conducts a live video call with the host, who walks through the entire property showing:
- Every bedroom, bathroom, and living area
- Kitchen and appliances
- Outdoor spaces, pool, parking
- Entry points and security measures
- View from the property
Document Check
We verify the host's identity and ownership documents to ensure they have the legal right to list the property.
Photo Matching
Our team cross-references uploaded photos with the video walkthrough to catch any discrepancies. Properties with mismatched photos are asked to update before approval.
The Verified Badge
Properties that pass verification display a green "Verified" badge on their listing. This badge means:
- Real property, real photos, real amenities.
- Host identity confirmed.
- Property has been inspected within the last 12 months.
