Managing Your Bookings

The Juxtravel Host Dashboard gives you full control over your bookings. Here is how to manage reservations effectively.

Viewing Bookings

Log into your Host Dashboard to see all bookings organized by status:

  • Upcoming — confirmed bookings with future check-in dates.
  • Active — guests currently staying at your property.
  • Completed — past bookings with checkout done.
  • Enquiries — pay-at-property requests awaiting your confirmation.
  • Cancelled — bookings that were cancelled by guest or host.

Handling Enquiries

When a guest chooses Pay at Property, you receive an enquiry notification via email and WhatsApp. You must:

  1. Review the request — check dates, guest count, and any special requests.
  2. Confirm or decline — act promptly; enquiries expire if not addressed.
  3. Communicate with the guest — use the built-in messaging to discuss details.

Calendar Management

  • Block dates — mark dates as unavailable for personal use or maintenance.
  • Sync calendars — import iCal feeds from Airbnb, Booking.com, or other platforms to avoid double bookings.
  • View availability — the calendar shows confirmed bookings, blocked dates, and synced reservations in different colors.

Booking Notifications

You will receive notifications for:

  • New bookings — instant email and WhatsApp alert with guest details.
  • New enquiries — prompt to confirm or decline.
  • Pre-arrival reminder — guest arriving tomorrow, time to prepare.
  • Cancellations — if a guest cancels, you are notified immediately.

Guest Communication

Use the dashboard messaging to coordinate with guests about:

  • Check-in directions and timing
  • Special arrangements or requests
  • Local recommendations and tips
