Pricing Your Property
Pricing Your Property
Setting the right price is key to maximizing bookings and revenue. Here is how pricing works on Juxtravel.
Base Price
Your base price per night is the standard weekday rate that covers your base occupancy (the default number of guests included). Set this competitively by researching similar properties in your area.
Weekend Pricing
Friday and Saturday nights typically see higher demand. Set a weekend rate that is 10-30% above your base price to capitalize on this.
Extra Guest Charges
Define a per-person charge for guests exceeding your base occupancy. For example, if your villa sleeps 8 but the base rate covers 4, set an extra guest charge (typically Rs 500-1,500 per person per night).
Discounts
Encourage longer stays with automatic discounts:
- Weekly discount — for bookings of 7+ nights (e.g., 10% off).
- Monthly discount — for bookings of 28+ nights (e.g., 25% off).

Tips for Competitive Pricing
- Start slightly lower when you are new to attract early bookings and reviews.
- Adjust seasonally — peak season (October-March) can command 20-50% more.
- Watch your competitors — check similar properties on Juxtravel and other platforms.
- Offer value — a well-priced property with great reviews will outperform an overpriced one every time.
Commission
Juxtravel charges a 5% host commission on each booking. This is deducted from your earnings before payout. There are no listing fees or monthly charges.
